After a baby tree has grown into a mature adult, it is able to support itself with minimal help. Nonetheless, a degree of regular care is needed to keep the tree in good health. The crown of the tree must be thinned out to increase strength and support airflow and sun exposure. If a tree is dead or unhealthy, tree removal can be done by cutting the branches into segments and shredding the stump with a special tool.
