Any fire pit under about 50- pounds can be considered to be highly portable. Portable fire pits are suitable for use not only on the patio but for outdoor excursions like hiking, tailgating or camping trips. The following are three dependable portable fire pit models to look at:

Coleman’s Pack-Away features a stainless steel 22 inch reservoir for burning wood or charcoal. This unit also doubles as a grill and comes with a grate remover tool. The protective screen features a decorative leaf pattern that stop flying embers. While in transit, the Pack-Away’s legs can be detached and stored inside of the reservoir. This compact unit requires no tools for assembly and is very durable. It even comes with a carry pack with handles. The stainless steel interior is extremely easy to clean.
